1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition seems to be the anomaly in the preparation of gradation list.

2. According to the petitioner the gradation list shows juniors to the petitioner over and above the petitioner and for which the petitioner has also made a detailed representation to the department.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with the rules, so far as the alleged anomaly in the gradation list is concerned.

4. Let appropriate decision be taken by respondent no.2 within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
