Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that petitioner's land has been acquired in excess by the respondent authorities for construction of National Highway for which compensation has not been paid to the petitioner till date and, therefore, he may be allowed to make representation before the Collector, Kabirdham to measure the additional land and grant compensation.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, the petitioner would be at liberty to make representation before the Collector, Kabirdham who shall look into the matter and take a decision on the petitioner's representation expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
