1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of punishment dated 17.01.2019, whereby the respondent No.3 has imposed a punishment of stoppage of one annual increment without cumulative effect.

2. At the outset, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition, on account of there being an alternative statutory remedy of appeal available to the petitioner.

3. Reserving the right of the petitioner to avail the remedy of departmental appeal before the Appellate Authority, the present writ petition in its present form stands disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Ved
