The limited relief sought by the petitioner in the present is for an appropriate direction to the respondent No .1 to take appropriate decision on the application which the petitioner has filed on 26.09.2019 for Counter Signature in Inter State Regular Stage Carriage Permit No. P.St. S. No.- 001/2013(CG) on the route Patna to Ambikapur via Vihta, Akhal, Daudnagar, Aorangabad, Daltendganj, Ramanujganj and one single trip daily. 2.

According to the Counsel for the Petitioner, the permit has already been issued by the State Transport Authority, Bihar Patna for the period of 10.01.2018 to 09.01.2023 and it requires Counter Signature from the authorities in the State of Chhattisgarh. 3.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the application of the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of as early as possible. 4.

Be that as it may, if the petitioner had moved such application, it should have been decided one way or the other. If it is not being

done by now, the respondent authority should be directed to decide the matter within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
