Petitioner has preferred this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent No.2, Transport Commissioner, Raipur to decide his pending appeal, which the petitioner has preferred to challenge the order dated 13.10.2016 passed by the RTO, Bilaspur. 2.

It appears, the petitioner has preferred an appeal on 04.11.2016, which is pending since last 3 months. Although the Appellate Authority has not caused much delay, because the appeal is

pending only for 3 months, however, considering the plea that the petitioner's vehicle is lying idle, ends of justice would be served if the Appellate Authority is directed to consider and decide the appeal, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 2 months from today. It is ordered accordingly.
