(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an application for appointment on compassionate ground which is pending consideration before the respondent No.1 since 03.04.2012, therefore, direction may be issued to respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's application expeditiously. (3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

(4) Be that as it may, respondent No.1 is directed to consider and take a decision on the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a

period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. (5) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
