Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he had made an application for verification of caste certificate before the State Level Caste Scrutiny Committee on 26/02/2016, which has been returned by the said Committee on 16/03/2016 stating that District

Level Caste Scrutiny Committee has been constituted. Thereafter, he has again made an application on 11/04/2016 before the District Level Caste Scrutiny Committee, Rajnandgaon presided by the Collector for verification of his caste certificate, which is pending consideration and in the meanwhile, on 08/04/2016 the Collector has issued notice for termination of his service holding his caste certificate forged.

Since the matter is pending before the District Level Caste Scrutiny Committee for verification of caste certificate of the petitioner, it would be expedient in the interest of justice to dispose of the matter at this stage with a direction to the District Level Caste Scrutiny Committee, Rajnandgaon to take decision on the petitioner's caste certificate.

However, petitioner is directed to submit all his documents preferably within a period of ten days before the District Level Caste Scrutiny Committee and in turn the said Committee after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other concerned would take decision on

the petitioner's caste certificate preferably within a period of two months.

The Collector, Kabirdham would be at liberty to take the decision on the petitioner's service pursuant to notice Annexure P/1 independently and in accordance with law after decision of District Level Caste Scrutiny Committee and depending upon the outcome of the said decision of said Committee.

With the aforesaid observation, writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
