The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.41/2021 registered in Police Station Chhuikhadan, District Rajnandgaon (C.G.) for offence punishable under sections 354, 294, 323, 506 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

As per the prosecution case, on 14/02/2021 the applicant caught hold of cloths of the victim, tried to drag her and also abused her, thereby tried to outrage her modesty and the applicant was arrested on 15/02/2021.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail since 15/02/2021 and charge sheet has been filed, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Considering the nature of allegations, charge sheet has been filed and the applicant is in jail since 15/02/2021, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the

applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed. Sd/- (Goutam Bhaduri) JUDGE gouri
