Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 11/05/2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction may be issued to respondent No.2 to consider petitioner's application for correction of revenue records and to record his name.

I find that the petitioner has not filed any application before the Tahsildar. He straightway moved application before the Collector. 3.

In that view of the matter, as there is no application pending before the Tahsildar, no direction can be issued.

Nevertheless, the petitioner is at liberty to apply before the Tahsildar for necessary correction in the revenue records under the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code.
