1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the petitioner's land situated in Khasra No.14/1, Sheet No. 61-C, area measuring 105.76 square meter, has been taken over by the respondents for the purpose of construction and widening of the road. According to the petitioner, no acquisition proceeding has been initiated nor has the petitioner been paid compensation for the said land which has been used by the respondents. The further grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of repeated representations to the
respondents, no response has been shown by the respondents.
2. Given the aforesaid fact, this Court is of the opinion that let the petitioner approach the respondent no.1 who in turn shall consider the case and take appropriate steps in determining as to whether the petitioner is entitled for any compensation or not. If the petitioner is entitled for compensation, appropriate steps and measures be taken for instructing the appropriate authorities for the same.
