This petition has been filed in the style of 'Public Interest Litigation' whereby the relief sought is for taking appropriate action on the advertisement for filling up the post of Registrar in the Pt. Sunderlal Sharma (Open) University. 2.

The law is well settled so far as the Public Interest Litigation is concerned. In service matters, no Public Interest Litigation will be entertained. (For support, see judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Dr. Duryodhan Sahu Vs. Jitendra Kumar Mishra (1998) 7 SCC 273).

In this view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain this petition. It is dismissed accordingly.
