2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that earlier the petitioner was working as Driver in the MPSRTC and thereafter,
in the CIDC. In due course, the petitioner was absorbed in the Department of Home, Police Establishment, where he is working as Driver since 2003, however, he has not been paid one month's additional salary, which a Driver in the Police Establishment is entitled for under the Circular dated 12.9.1979 (Annexure P/5).
3. Considering the nature of dispute brought before this Court, the petition is disposed of with direction that in the event, the petitioner prefers a representation before the competent authority for grant of one month's additional salary in view of the Circular dated 12.09.1975 within a period of one month from today, the competent authority shall decide the representation by a speaking order, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 04 months.
