1. The impugned order of suspension has been passed by the Director, Public Instructions in exercise of power under Rule 9 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1966.

2. In view of the availability of the statutory alternative remedy, this petition is not maintainable. It is accordingly disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move before the appellate authority within a period of 30 days from today. On such appeal being filed, the appellate authority shall decide the same on merits at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of submission of appeal.
