Petitioner has been granted proforma promotion on the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) w.e.f. 29-12-1984 without any consequential benefits on the principle of 'no work no pay'. 2.

Petitioner's earlier writ petition, bearing WP No.504 of 2005, was disposed of by this Court on 2-1-2014 directing

consideration of his representation for the purpose of notional benefit in accordance with law.

In view of the direction issued by this Court to the respondent only to consider the petitioner's representation for consideration of notional benefit in accordance with law, no case for interference is made out.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
