With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally.

The petitioner is claiming compassionate appointment on a suitable Class-IV post in view of her husband being murdered while on duty as daily wager Sweeping Attendant-cum-Watchman.

In view of the document (Annexure-P-14), the letter issued by the Deputy Director, Veterinary Services (Durg) and the letter dated 18.07.2011 (Annexure-P-13) issued from the Office of Directorate of Health Services to the Deputy Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry Development, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to pursue the representation.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. It is expected that the authority shall take decision on the issue, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
