1. Dr. Manish Shrivastava, contemnor No.2 is present in the Court.
2. The present contempt petition raises a grievance about non-compliance of the order dated 28.9.2015 passed in WPS No.1719/2015 whereby direction was issued to the respondent/University to decide the petitioner's representation, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of
certified copy of the order.
3. The petitioner was served a letter dated 17.5.2016 informing him that the decision has already been taken on his representation and the said decision was for constituting a Committee as also for seeking legal opinion and thereafter submission of report before the next Executive Council meeting.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents/contemnors would draw attention of the Court to the return which contains Annexure-CR-2/1 wherein the University has taken a decision on 21.7.2016 to reject the petitioner's representation.
5. In view of the above, though with some delay, the order passed by this Court has been complied with and the contempt has been purged. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
