Versus
1. State Of Chhattisgarh, Through Secretary, Department of Urban Mantralaya DKS Bhawan, Raipur (CG)
2. Municipal Council Kondagaon, Through Chief Municipal Officer, Kanker, District Kanker (CG) --Respondents For Petitioner :
Mr. Ashish Surana, Advocate For State :
Mr. Majid Ali, Dy. G.A.
For Respondent No.2 :
Mr. Shobhit Koshta, Advocate Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 09.04.2018 Heard.
1.
This petition has been filed by the petitioner in the year 2003 raising grievance that he has not paid the salary in the month of July, 1999 to November, 1999. 2.
Initially, return was filed by the respondents in which inability was shown that the service book of the petitioner was not available. Later on, during the pendency of the petition, on 08.02.2009 written submission was made by respondent No.2 along with an affidavit that on 29.03.2005, the petitioner was paid amount Rs.10,000/-, on 05.04.2005, Rs.10,000/- and on 28.05.2007, amount of Rs.34,551/-, thus a total amount of Rs.54,634/- paid by May 2007 and thereafter, another amount of Rs.24,961/- paid to him vide receipt dated 25.04.2000 and 07.04.2000. The petition since then has remained pending but there is no rejoinder filed by the petitioner to dispute receipt of the said amount. Therefore, in these circumstances, I do not find that the petitioner's grievance is in substance. 3.
Though learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be granted sometime to verify the same, at this belated stage, I am not inclined to grant further time. The petition is therefore finally disposed off.
