1. The limited grievance, which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that the petitioner has superannuated on attaining the age of retirement w.e.f. 31.07.2018 and though he has retired in July, 2018, till date the respondents have not released the leave encashment amount payable to the petitioner, so also the medical claim and his T.A. has also not been released.

2. According to the petitioner, so far as his earned leave is concerned, the respondents have already taken a decision as early as on

-230.07.2018 (Annexure P/2) for releasing the same, but till date he has not received it.

Given the limited grievance, which the petitioner has raised, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending by admitting the same, rather ends of justice would serve if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No.2 to 4 to immediately process the claim of the petitioner and whatever due that are payable to the petitioner on his retirement including the earned leave, medical claim and T.A. etc., the same should be finalized within an outer limit of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to appraise the respondents No.2 to 4, so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Ved
