Agrawal Order On Board 29/06/2017 (1) This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner herein calling in question the order passed by the Chhattisgarh State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Raipur under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

(2) Against the order passed by the Chhattisgarh State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Raipur, the appeal would lie under Section 21(a)(i) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 before the material forum.

(3) In view of the availability of statutory alternative remedy, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, the petitioner is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law and to avail the alternative remedy, if so advised.
