Upon instructions, learned State counsel submits that on representation made by the petitioner, the claim of the petitioner is in active consideration and presently, the matter has been sent to the Office of Respondent No.4 - Inspector General C.A.F. Police Headquarter, Raipur for consideration of claim in accordance with the applicable Rules. He submits that at this stage, the petition be

disposed off as the claim of the petitioner has not been rejected till date.

In view of the above submission, there is no need to keep the matter pending when the petitioner's claim is in active consideration of the respondents.

The petition is accordingly disposed off with a direction to decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the Rules. In case the petitioner's grievance is not redressed, it would be open for the petitioner to revive petition.
