The instant is a revision against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 13.05.2004 passed in Criminal Appeal No. 83 of 2003 by the Additional Sessions Judge (FTC) Kawardha (C.G.). 2).

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the sole applicant has died on 19.08.2016. He further places the photocopy of death certificate of the applicant and prays the same may be taken on record.

State counsel is directed to verify and submit the report. 4).

It is orally submitted by the State counsel that City Superintendent of Police, Police Station- Civil Lines, Bilaspur has verified and submitted that Ramcharan Verma S/o. Vanshadhari Verma, has died on 19.08.2016.

There is no application on behalf of any legal representative of the deceased applicant to prosecute this revision any further. 6).

In light of the above, the instant criminal revision is dismissed as having become abated.
