1. The show cause notice issued by the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) to the petitioner who is former Sarpanch of Village Tiwarta has been challenged in this writ petition.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned show cause notice is without jurisdiction and without authority of law.

3. On the other hand, learned State counsel would support the show cause notice.

4. Since it is a show cause notice, the petitioner is directed to file reply supported by documents and in that event the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) shall decide the objection and the points raised by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law.

5. With this observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
