1. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents for compassionate appointment.
2. The deceased employee died in harness on 08.01.2018. The application for compassionate appointment was filed with the respondents in February, 2018.
3. A perusal of record would show that the present writ petition itself was filed in February, 2018. This court is not inclined to entertain the petition as it has been filed immediately after the application for compassionate appointment being moved before the competent authority.
4. The petition thus stands disposed of. However, considering the fact that there is already an application for compassionate appointment moved before the respondents, it is expected that the respondents shall consider and decide the said application as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 60 days.
