1. The impugned show cause notice demanding motor vehicle tax from the petitioner has called upon the petitioner to

2 WPT No. 37 of 2019 submit certificate of payment of tax, failing which appropriate steps shall be taken for recovery of the amount.

2. Instead of satisfying the authority by submitting certificate of payment of motor vehicle tax or demonstrating the reason for which petitioner is not liable to pay the demanded tax the petitioner has rushed to this Court.

3. Let the petitioner file reply to the notice Annexure P-3 before the RTA, Ambikapur, who shall thereafter hear the petitioner and pass final order in accordance with law.

4. If an adverse order is passed against the petitioner he would be at liberty to file the appeal as provided under the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Motoryan Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1991.
