The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.50/2016 registered in Police Station Sarangarh, District Raigarh (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 420 of Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, in the year 2013 the applicant in order to provide government job to the complainant Padmini has received the amount and likewise he has received amount from the prospective candidates and amount of Rs.23 lakhs was received from 13 persons. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated in this case, he has not committed any offence and no evidence is on record to show that he has received the amount, therefore the applicant may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Perused the statement of the complainant as also other prospective candidates. Case diary also contains an agreement wherein it is stated

that applicant has received the amount to provide government job to prospective candidates. Considering the fact, this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Certified copy as per rules.
