Agrawal Order On Board 25/07/2017 (1) In writ petition being Writ Petition (C) No.1109 of 2015 preferred by the present petitioner before this Court. This Court by its order dated 22.02.2016 directed the respondents to make payment of the balance amount payable to the petitioner at the earliest, which has been paid to the petitioner. Now, this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has filed by the petitioner to make payment of the interest @ 18% per annum on the amount paid to him.

(2) Since, earlier the petitioner had not sought any such

direction to make payment of the interest @ 18% per annum on the balance amount, therefore, the disputes arised by the petitioner in the present writ petition, that cannot be decided by this Court. (3) Consequently, the writ petition deserves to be and is accordingly dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise such claim before the appropriate forum.
