Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 08/07/2016 Heard on application for amendment in the cause title. Upon due consideration, the application is allowed. Let necessary amendment be carried out in the cause title. In place of 'Bilaspur' it shall be read as 'Janjgir-Champa' in the description of third respondent.

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of direction to respondents to consider posting of the petitioner and his wife at one place.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that according to the Government Policy, the husband and wife have to be posted at one station
as far as possible. Application has been submitted which has not been considered, therefore, this petition is filed. Posting husband and wife together is one of the policy of the Government. This, however, is subject to administrative exigencies and public interest. Nevertheless, when such application is filed, the same is to be considered by the competent authority at the time of effecting normal transfers and if subject to administrative exigency, it is possible to keep husband and wife together at one place, it may be considered. Considering the aforesaid circumstances, all that can be done at this stage is to direct the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, JanjgirChampa to consider petitioner's representation and take a decision thereon within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
