(2) Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent No. 1- Municipal Corporation be directed to issue vending identity card in accordance with the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (henceforth 'Act of 2014'), for which they have made application before the respondent No.1- Municipal Corporation.
(3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and accordingly the same is alllowed.
(4) Be that as it may, the respondent No.1- Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Raipur is directed to consider and decide the application filed by the petitioner for issuing vending identity card strictly in accordance with law expeditiously.
(5) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petitions stand finally disposed of.
