Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though petitioner's land has not been acquired but road has been constructed on it by the respondent authorities for which he has made representation before the National Highways Authority of India for grant of compensation but till date nothing has been done.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make fresh representation before the respondent No. 2 - National Highways Authority of India who, in turn, shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation for grant of compensation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of representation and proceed further in accordance with law. 3.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No cost(s).
