The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.182/2012 registered in Police Station Supela, District Durg (C.G.) for offence punishable under sections 25, 27 of Arms Act.

This is a case of bail jump. The applicant was enlarged on bail on 22/03/2012 and thereafter he was released. Subsequently, the applicant was again arrested on 9/06/2016 as he failed to appear after charge sheet was filed on 27/03/2012.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that during the remand period the applicant was enlarged on bail and while charge sheet was filed the applicant was not informed and therefore he could not enter his appearance and he is in jail since 9/06/2016, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the applicant is in custody since 9/06/2016 and he was earlier enlarged on

bail, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
