Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order On Board 21/08/2017 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the State would submit that the order dated 31.07.2017 passed by respondent No.2-Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue)/Prescribed Officer Panchayat Lailunga is appealable before the Collector, Raigarh under the Chhattisgarh Panchayats (Appeal and Revision) Rules, 1995. (2) At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would

submit that he may be allowed to file an appeal before the Collector, Raigarh within seven days from today.

(3) Be that as it may, the petitioner is permitted to file an appeal before the Collector, Raigarh. If such an appeal is filed by the petitioner before the Collector within seven days from today and in turn, the Collector shall consider and decide the appeal of the petitioner after hearing the parties expeditiously preferably within a further period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with appeal.

(4) The certified copy of the impugned order be returned to the counsel for the petitioner after furnishing an attested photocopy thereof.

(5) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
