1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that seven juniors of the petitioner have been promoted to the post of Officer Scale-II by order dated 24.12.2003 (Annexure P/10), against which, he made representations dated 2.1.2004 and 12.1.2004 to the respondent-authorities for considering his case for promotion on the post of Officer Scale-II as on that day, but neither his case has been considered nor his representations have been considered and decided.
2. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 would submit that the
petitioner's representations will be considered expeditiously.
3. Be that as it may, respondent No.1 is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 2.1.2004 and 12.1.2004 for his promotion w.e.f. 24.12.2003 the date on which his juniors have been promoted to the post of Officer Scale-II within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on its own merit strictly in accordance with law.
4. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
