The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for through the present writ petition is for issuance of an appropriate direction to the revenue authorities in the district for grant of map in respect of the property over which the petitioner has been issued Patta on 28.6.1994.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that right from 1994 the proceedings have been drawn and even recently the Nazul Officer, Raigarh has vide Annexure P-7, dated 29.5.1999, directed the Revenue Inspector (Nazul), Raigarh to conduct a spot inspection and provide a report in this regard. The Revenue Inspector after due inspection of the spot has submitted his report vide Annexure P-8, dated 14.10.2019. A Panchnama also in this regard has been prepared. However, thereafter, the map has not been issued to the petitioner, on the basis of which he has not been able to get his property registered in his name. 3.

At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent authorities, however, in the case of other similarly placed persons, have already in the recent past issued appropriate map also. 4.

Given the limited relief that the petitioner has sought for, let respondents no. 2 and 3 subject to due verification of the facts consider the claim of the petitioner for issuance of map in respect of the property over which the petitioner

has been given Patta on 28.6.1994, in accordance with law, and subject to the petitioner's fulfilling the formalities that are required for obtaining the same. Let this exercise be completed at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order by the petitioner. 5.
