Agrawal Order On Board 24/08/2017 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the learned Labour Judge-cum-Commissioner/Employees Compensation Act, Bilaspur has passed an award of compensation on 21.07.2017 and released an amount of Rs.1,31,242/- in the saving bank account of the petitioner and remaining amount has been deposited as Fixed Deposit and, therefore, the Labour Court be directed to release the entire amount in favour of the petitioner.
(2) I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the impugned order.
(3) As per the order of this Court dated 07.02.2017 passed in MAC No.65 of 2008 it was clearly held that the amount shall be disbursed only after following the procedure laid down under sub-Section (8) of Section 8 of the Employees Compensation Act and accordingly the amount has been deposited in which I do not find any jurisdictional error in the impugned order.
(4) Consequently, the writ petition deserves to be and is accordingly dismissed.
