1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner retired on 31.08.2017 and as per circular of the State dated 08.08.2018 (Annexure P3) the petitioner is entitled for the benefits of 7th Pay commission along with the arrears for which calculation was done by the Principal and was forwarded to the respondents, however, the arrears has not been released

till date. It is contended that the petitioner at this moment since has made an application to the District Education Officer, the same may be directed to be decided so that the petitioner who has already retired may get the arrears due on account of 7th pay commission.

3. Perused the Annexure P-3 dated 08.08.2018, considering the same as the petitioner has already made an application for release of arrears on 07.01.2020, the District Education Officer is directed to decide the same in accordance with the circular of the State, thereafter, the payment be released to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be carried out within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
