1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order Annexure P/1 dated 31.03.2010, passed by the Steel Authority of India, whereby the respondents have initiated a recruitment process for promotion from the non-executive employee to the executive cadre.
2. The Steel Authority of India pending the writ petition before this Court itself has now been notified under the provisions of Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. Subsequent to the notification, all service related disputes arising from the said institutions has to be filed before the Central Administrative Tribunal.
3. Given the said facts, that the matter has to be heard and decide by the Central Administrative Tribunal by virtue of the amendment brought into Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, the present writ petition therefore needs to be transferred to the
Central Administrative Tribunal, Jabalpur, which has the territorial jurisdiction to decide the disputes originating from the respondents' organization.
4. In view of the same, it is ordered that the present writ petition be transferred to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Jabalpur.
5. The Registry is directed to proceed immediately and ensure that the entire records stands transferred to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Jabalpur forthwith.
