1. This petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is working as Part Time Sweeper on a fixed salary granted to her at the time of her appointment on the then existing Collector Rate. Petitioner has approached this Court claiming minimum wages as per minimum wage fixed by the Collector.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner submit that the petitioner has submitted a representation for grant of minimum wages, however, the same has remained
-2pending without any decision till date.
3. The pleadings and documents placed on record show that the petitioner was appointed as Part Time Sweeper on the wages applicable in the case of Part Time Sweeper on Collector Rates.
If, after her appointment, wages have been revised, the case of the petitioner is also required to be considered for grant of appropriate and existing minimum wages prescribed by the Collector.
4. Accordingly, petitioner's case should also be considered and appropriate orders in her case is required to be passed on her claim for grant of appropriate wages according to current rate of wages applicable to the category of employment, in which the petitioner is employed. The District Education Officer, District - Jashpur shall consider petitioner's claim and take appropriate decision.
