1. Heard.

2. The accused/applicant has moved this bail application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for releasing him on regular bail during trial in connection with Crime No.175/2015 registered at Police Station Rajhara, Distt. Balod, for the offence punishable under Section 34 (2) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act.

3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that 16.560 bulk liters of illicit liquor was seized by the police from the present applicant.

4. Taking into consideration the provisions contained in Section 59A of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, the fact that 11 cases were registered and pending against the applicant for various offence including the excise offence and quantity of liquor, I am not inclined to grant bail to the applicant. The application is, therefore, rejected.
