against the petitioner on 8.2.2008, he may be permitted to withdraw this petition with a prayer that the respondents / Food Corporation of India be directed to make payment of Rs.2,666/- along with interest to the petitioner.
(2) Per contra, counsel for respondents /FCI would submit that the said amount will be paid to the petitioner, if the petitioner furnishes requisite documents in support of their claim. (3) Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioners are at liberty to make application for payment of Rs.2,666/- alongwith interest along with the requisite documents in supprt of their claim and, in turn, the respondents/FCI would do well to decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously.
