The Petitioner was an applicant for the post of Assistant Professor in response to advertisement dated 5.9.2014 issued by the Respondents. The grievance was that the Respondents were declining to accept her application for reasons mentioned in the writ petition.

An additional return has been filed today on behalf of Respondent No. 2 stating at paragraph 3 that the Petitioner had applied on-line vide Application No. 1425090002684 on 25.9.2014 at 7:33 pm within the stipulated time and that the same has been accepted by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission for consideration.

Learned Counsel for the parties are agreed that the writ petition may be disposed in terms of the statement made in paragraph 3 of the additional affidavit on behalf of Respondent No. 2.

It is ordered accordingly.
