This is the first bail application filed under Section 439 of CrPC for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 11/2021 registered in Police Station Torva Distt. Bilaspur (C.G.) for offence punishable under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code. 2.
As per prosecution case, on 02.01.2021, the applicant snatched a bag from the complainant while she was coming home which was carrying cash, ATM Card and other valuable documents. On the subsequent date, the said items were recovered from the possession of the applicant. 3.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail since 04.01.2021, more than six months have been passed, chargesheet has been filed and the applicant is ready to give his appearance before the concerned Thana once in a month, therefore he may be enlarged on bail. 4.
Learned State counsel opposes the submission and submits that as many as nine cases of different nature including theft, abuse, assault is registered against the applicant.

Considering the fact that the applicant is in jail since 04.01.2021, the
chargesheet has been filed, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court. Considering the past antecedents of the applicant, it is further directed that the applicant shall give his appearance on every first Saturday of the month before the Police Station Torva wherein the case is registered till this trial is concluded before the Magistrate.
