Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 16/03/2018 1.
The limited grievance of the petitioner is that, the respondents may consider the case of the petitioner for necessary correction in the service record so far as his fathers name is concerned. 2.
The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that, the father name of the petitioner infact is Sakhi Ram whereas in the service record it has been mentioned as Rakhi Ram which according to the petitioner is a clerical error or a mistake at the time of entry being made in the service record. He submits that to avoid further future complication the correction has to be made. He further submits that, he has also made an application in this regard to the department but the same has till date not been considered.
3.
At this juncture, the counsel appearing for the respondents submits that, the matter can be disposed off with a direction to the authorities to consider the said request of the petitioner and on due verification and necessary enquiry, correction if required can be allowed. 4.
On the said submission made by the counsel for the respondents, the present Writ Petition stands disposed off with a direction that the concerned department where the petitioner is working shall consider the request so made by the petitioner and after due verification and necessary enquiry, the correction if required may be permitted.
5.
The Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Sumit JUDGE
