The limited relief sought through this petition is to issue direction to the Family Court to expeditiously dispose off the pending petition filed by the petitioner for divorce. It is submitted that the proceedings are being delayed. 3.

Considering that the petition for divorce was filed in the year 2014. Though, I am not inclined to fix any time limit for final disposal at this stage. Nevertheless, the Family Court shall do well to conclude the proceedings as early as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties. Let the trial of the petition be expedited by the Family Court.
