As per the return filed by the State, it is contended that on a complaint made by the petitioner, the investigation was started, however, the petitioner did not attend despite the repeated calls. 2.

In view of such submission, when the petition itself is for making an enquiry for the allegations leveled and the State when has

categorically stated that the enquiry has already been started. Considering the stage of enquiry, purpose of justice would be subserved if the petitioner appears and records his statement. Accordingly, the petitioner may appear before the enquiry officer on 30th January, 2018 so that his statement may be recorded by the enquiry officer and thereafter the State to proceed in accordance with law.
