Petitioner is selected as Inspector Legal Metrology in the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection, Government of Chhattisgarh. She has preferred this writ petition seeking quashment of the order dated 15/10/2014 and for a direction to the respondents to allow her to complete the remaining part of the training and appear in the examination conducted at the Directorate of Indian Legal Metrology Training Institute Kanke-Ranchi(Jharkhand).

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that when this writ petition was preferred, the previous session was under operation, however, since thereafter the session has come to an end, therefore, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's candidature for the next session in accordance with the eligibility norms applicable in the matter.

Considering the entire fact situation of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondents shall consider petitioner's candidature for obtaining training at the Indian Legal Metrology Training Institute Kanke-Ranchi (Jharkhand) in the next session, in accordance with law, subject to petitioner's fulfilment of all eligibility condition in this regard. The needful may be done within a period of one month from today.
