Hon'ble Shri Justice Rajendra Chandra Singh Samant Order on Board 09-03-2020 Heard.

1. This petition has been filed not against any specific order passed by the learned Court below. The only prayer is that specific direction be issued for early disposal of the Civil Suit pending.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the dispute between the petitioner and the respondents is continuing since the year 1991. Civil Suit has been filed in the year 2017 and subsequent to that the case is not making any progress because of the various interlocutory applications that have been filed in between and even though the case is at the evidence stage, where not a single witness has been examined

-2by the trial Court, therefore, specific direction be issued in this respect.

3. Learned State counsel appearing for respondent No.2 makes a formal objection

4. Looking to the pendency of the Civil Suit, that it has been more than two years, therefore, the direction is issued to the learned Court below to expedite and conclude the trial of the Civil Suit preferably within a period of one year from the date of this order.
