1. The petitioner has preferred this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to release the arrears of salary for the period 05-062007 to 31-03-2009 along with interest, as per guidelines. 2.

Considering the entire facts situation of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event, the petitioner prefers a representation raising his grievance with respect to non payment of salary

before the respondent No.3, within a period of 1 month from today, the said authority shall consider and decide petitioner's representation by speaking order, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of submission of the representation.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
