1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though an order was passed by this Court on 23.02.2015 directing the police concerned to enquire/investigate the matter and if a cognizable offence is committed by any person, to proceed in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, to the best of information of the petitioner, no steps have been taken towards compliance of the order of the Court to enquire into the matter.

2. There was no direction, in terms, to direct registration of offence but to hold an enquiry in compliance of order passed by the Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari V. Government of Uttar Pradesh and others, (2014) 2 SCC 1. The order of this Court was passed in the month of February. The police authorities, therefore, should disclose in writing to the petitioner as to steps, if any, taken towards compliance of the order of the Court and the result of the enquiry. This shall be done by the respondent No.2/Station House Officer,

Police Station Bhatgaon. Upon production of copy of this order to both the respondents, the respondent No.2 shall inform whether the order of the Court has been complied with or not by giving information in writing to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of production of copy of this order. Thereafter, if eventuality arises, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the petition. A copy of this order which also be placed by the petitioners before the concerned Superintendent of Police, Balodabazar.
