1. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents, who have failed to make payment of the amount lying in the GPF account of late husband of the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had

earlier preferred WPS No.6463/2011 wherein by order dated 28.10.2014 the Committee constituted for redressal of grievances concerning pension and retiral benefits has directed that if the petitioner submits application along with affidavit to accept whatever balance is shown in the record of the Accountant General, the same shall be paid to her. However, despite submission of affidavit along with copy of the order passed by the Pension Redressal Committee before the Block Education Officer on 29.1.2015, nothing has been done for making payment of the amount.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to send the petitioner's case to the office of Accountant General for taking appropriate decision in view of the order dated 28.10.2014 passed by the Pension Redressal Committee. Respondent No.4 shall do the needful within a period of 6 weeks from today and thereafter the office of Accountant General shall pass necessary orders within a further period of 10 weeks. However, the writ is not issued to the Accountant General because the said office is not made party in the writ petition.
