Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father died in harness on 29.01.2017 working as Shiksha Karmi

Grade-III in Janpad Panchayat Kartala, District Korba. The petitioner being entitled for compassionate appointment applied for the same by filing application, but his application has not been considered and no order has been passed. Therefore, appropriate direction be issued to respondent No.3 Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Korba for consideration of the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment, in accordance with law.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No.3 Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Korba is directed to consider the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law within 2 weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

It is made clear that this Court has not directed for grant of compassionate appointment to the petitioner but has only directed for deciding the application for compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules, regulations and the government

norms.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of.
